PMS 5.0 Report Updates

PMS has many generated reports via Excel exports and WFS exports. In version 5.0 the PMS database underwent major changes, with all works tables and data being migrated to a new projects data schema. This required many changes to database views and reports which are documented below.

Form B

  • ‘Works Code’ column changed to ‘Project Code’

  • ‘Works Name’ column changed to ‘Project Name’

  • ‘Works Type Code’ column changed to ‘Majority Intervention Code’

  • ‘Proposed Surface Type’ column changed to ‘Majority Surface Course Before’

  • ‘Completed Surface Type’ column changed to ‘Majority Surface Course After’

  • ‘Estimated DTTAS Grant Category Cost’ column changed to ‘Estimated DoT Grant Category Cost’

  • ‘DTTAS Grant Category Cost’ column changed to ‘DoT Grant Category Cost’

  • ‘StartX_b’ and ‘StartX_a’ columns changed to ‘Start Eastings (ITM)’

  • ‘StartY_b’ and ‘StartY_a’ columns changed to ‘Start Northings (ITM)’

  • ‘Works Id’ column changed to ‘Project Id’

  • ‘JobCode’ column removed - ‘Project Code’ will be used for its value

Surface Material Report

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > Other Reports > Surface Material Report. Export name: SurfaceMaterialSummary.xlsm

Data tab:

  • ‘Surface Material’ column displays Material Name instead of old WearingCourse Abbreviation

  • ‘Full Name’ column hidden (it was WearingCourse Name now Material Name above used only)

SurfaceMaterialbyClass tab:

  • some minor layout changes due to higher amount of possible Materials now

Data tab and Majority tab:

  • added new colour formatting for ‘Surface Material’ due to higher amount of possible Materials now - new colours picked randomly

LA-wide Mechanical Data Export

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > Other Reports > LA-wide Mechanical Data Export. Export name: MechanicalDataSummary.xlsx

StripMaps tab:

  • ‘Surface Material’ column displays Material Name instead of old WearingCourse Abbreviation

  • added new colour formatting for ‘Surface Material’ due to higher amount of possible Materials now - new colours picked randomly

Completed Projects and Current PSCI Rating

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > PSCI (Pavement Surface Condition Index) Reports > Completed Projects and Current PSCI rating. Export name: ProjectsAndRatings.xlsx Renamed => “Completed Works and Current PSCI rating” from “Completed Projects and Current PSCI rating”.

  • output filename changed from ‘WorksAndRatings.xlsx’ to ‘ProjectsAndRatings.xlsx’

  • report header changed from ‘Completed Works and Current PSCI rating’ to ‘Completed Projects and Current PSCI rating’

  • ‘Works Type’ column changed to ‘Intervention Type’ and displays Intervention Type Name instead of old Works Type Code

  • back-end export service changed from ‘/export/worksAndRatings’ to ‘/export/projectsAndRatings’

Project Level PSCI Surveys

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > PSCI (Pavement Surface Condition Index) Reports > Project Level PSCI Surveys. Export name: ProjectsSurveysCoverage.xlsx Renamed => “Completed Projects and Current PSCI rating” from “Completed Works and Current PSCI rating”

  • ‘Percentage (of works) Surveyed Once’ column changed to ‘Percentage (of projects) Surveyed Once’

  • back-end export service changed from ‘/export/worksSurveysCoverage’ to ‘/export/projectsSurveysCoverage’

All Works Report

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > Projects Reports > All Projects Report. Export name: AllProjects.xlsx Renamed => “All Projects Report” from “All Works Report”

  • output filename changed from ‘AllWorks.xlsx’ to ‘AllProjects.xlsx’

  • report header changed from ‘All Works’ to ‘All Projects’

  • ‘Works Name’ column changed to ‘Project Name’

  • ‘Works Phase’ column changed to ‘Project Phase’

  • ‘Works Type’ column changed to ‘Intervention Type’ and displays Intervention Type Name instead of old Works Type Code

  • ‘Works Id’ column changed to ‘Project Id’

  • back-end export service changed from ‘/export/works/all’ to ‘/export/project/all’

This is available on the report dashboard under Report Links > Dynamic Reports > Pavement Works Project. Export name: PavementWorksProject.xlsx The view used by this report is also used for the WFS export service “Pavement Project Export”.
