PMS 5.4.1 Release Notes

Released 21/01/2022

This is a patch release to resolve various issues arising following the release of PMS 5.4.

OSi Tokens

Ordinance Survey Ireland uses tokens to manage access to its MapGenie service. These tokens are valid for a year. PMS uses MapGenie for some of the Basemap layers:

  • OSi discovery

  • OSi aerial

  • OSi premium

As part of the 5.4.1 patch release we will update our tokens for 2022.

WFS click points functionality

In PMS we have two WFS layers where each point in the layer has an associated edit form:

  • Bridges

  • Speed Signs

Users should be able to click on any of the points for these layers and have their associated edit form open. This functionality existed under the “classic” PMS and is now being ported across the new UI.

Bridges default style

Maintenance Inspection is now the default style for the Bridges layer.

Speed Limit Surveys draw order

Previously the draw order of the Speed Limits Survey layer did not take Survey Date into consideration. This has been rectified. Now how this layer is drawn will match what is returned from the Info Tool.

Programmes: Greyed out submit button

The initial release of the Programmes module for PMS2, in February 2021, contained a bug where Programmes with 0 validations against it could not be submitted. This issue was discovered by users on the December release of PMS 5.4. This patch release fixes this issue.

Project Legend

When changing between style options for the Project layer, the layer legend and layer title were not updating. This was due to a bug in the layer tree configuration. This patch release fixes this issue.
