User Roles

in the backend we use ReadOnly role for all ‘GET’ / ‘calculate values’ services, and ReadWrite for all the create/update/delete ones + there’s that new Unlocker role allowing unlocking of projects

Definition of the available roles:

Browser Roles

Role	Description
Administrator	Can do everything (when a user is assigned to this role they are also assigned to all the other roles)
Bridge Editor	Can change values in the bridges module
Missing Edge Resolver	Can access advanced modules and tools related to missing edges
Road Schedule Editor	Allows for editing of the road schedule in the old PMS system
Programmes Submitter	Can “press” the submit button on programmes
Unlocker user	Can click the padlock icon at the top right corner of editing forms when records are locked
PSCI Editor	Can create and edit PSCI Surveys
Read-Write	Can edit anything for which none of the above roles is needed
Read-Only	Can browse data but not make any change

Mobile Roles

Role	Description
Allow access to Projects mobile app	Allows user to access the Projects Mobile App
Allow access to PSCI mobile app	User can perform PSCI surveys on the PSCI Mobile App
Allow access to Speed Limit mobile app	User can access the Speed Limit mobile app
Allow access to Footways mobile app	User can perform surveys using the Footways mobile app
Bridge Inventory Editor	User can perform Inventory updates on the Bridges Mobile App
Bridge Maintenance Inspection Editor	User can perform a Maintenance Inspection on the Bridges Mobile App
Bridge Engineering Inspection Editor	User can perform a Engineering Inspection on the Bridges Mobile App
