Project Auxiliary Items

Aux. Items Tab

Auxiliary Items are added to projects via the Aux. Items tab of the Project form. Users can create Auxiliary Items against any Project Category/Type.

Hitting the Add Aux. Item button will open a new form.

Auxiliary Items can be created with or without adding an Auxiliary Feature.

Auxiliary Features can be Points and/or Polygons.

A Project’s Auxiliary Items are listed in a data grid. They can be deleted via this grid.

Aux. Items Form

General Tab

Fields:

1. Aux. Id: A system generated identifier will be created once the Auxiliary Item is saved.

2. Exp. Classification: Expenditure class for this Auxiliary Item.

3. Auxiliary Item: Mandatory selection from a list of expenditure categories.

4. Description: Mandatory description for the Auxiliary Item being created.

5. Value: The value of the Auxiliary Item.

6. Feature: Select the icon to add a polygon feature, select the to add a point feature.

Note

The Total amount of values applied to all Auxiliary Items for a project (displayed at the bottom of the grid), must be less than or equal to the Actual Project Cost.

Note

Auxiliary Items are not saved to a project until the parent project form is saved. This is denoted by a red triangle tag in the top left corner of each altered column.

History Tab

Shows the history of updates to this Auxiliary Item

Files Tab

Users can attach files to this Auxiliary Item. If an Auxiliary Item has a file attached or not is shown in the Has File(s)? column of the Aux. Items Tab data grid.

Map Layer & Grid

Auxiliary Features can be viewed in their own map layer with an associated data grid. Users can find this layer in the Projects folder of the layer tree.

This layer can be viewed by four thematics:

The layer grid is accessible via the context menu of the map layer.
